Eco Baby World!

Peek-a-boo (365-113)Image via Flickr

One of my friend is an activist of green earth. She blogs about ecology, eco abuse and eco friendly websites, events and people.

I think she will like EcoBabyWorld!
I visited the site thinking that it would interest me. I am bored. But, this blog post is meant for green activists-right?

This web site is great place for eco-friendly information, eco articles, news and interviews with the people behind favorite baby products.

An interesting feature in this Eco baby World is there is a facility for companies to launch their products. I noticed several baby care products that are all green-meaning eco friendly.

There are of plenty of useful articles for all of us.
Example:How to Make Your Own Organic Baby Food

In this article, I read an amusing information: babies like yellow and orange colored fruits and vegetables-is it so?

Who supplies handicapped toilet?

The incident occurred at San Francisco airport. We were all waiting impatiently for our flight to Dulles airport. We nearly missed the flight announcement amidst the cacophony of the waiting passengers.

It was my brother-in-law’s 8 year old daughter who suddenly got up from her seat and went up to talk to another boy from Nigeria. That boy must have been 12 years old and both his legs were wrapped in heavy cast. There was a pair of crutches lying beside his chair.

Our little angel walked back with a calm smile on her face. Only when we were aboard, she told us that she had gone to explain to the boy’s father about the availability of the handicapped toilet down the hall.

She told us that she saw the boy talking to his father about his necessity. Our angel understood that much from the signs and expressions of the disabled boy. She also sensed that they don’t understand English.

Except me, none in our family knew about such handicapped toilets that are fitted with extra attachments to serve the needs of other people.

Allegro Medical, one of the largest and most technologically advanced independently owned online retailers of life enhancing products in the United States is the leading supplier of handicapped toilet among other things that include shower chair and various daily living aids.

Excellent people search engine.

Pipl.com is about browsing the web in search of your own biography or anyone's history. We all certainly leave behind a pile of trail of us in the Internet. We fill out forms revealing our name, date of birth, country of origin, education etc.

Go to http://www.pipl.com/ It is a search engine of people.

Now have fun by typing your name. Pipl.com will reveal every bit of information about you. See the search results. The source will be from so many resources that include Flickr, social networks and many more. The result will astonish you.

You can also type in the city name along with the name of the person you are searching for to narrow down the results.

You can also search by email address. You will get places where that email address is linked.

Wonderful search engine.

Come together to help animals.

It is no secret to no know that children are more compassionate than adults. Children show more love to animals simply because animals also like children more than adults.

Childrendonate2.org is a site for kids and their parents to come together to help animals and others in need.

The fonts, pictures used and the impersonal content of the website point out that this site is meant for kids. As an adult, I didn't have the patience to read the content in detail. Yes, it is my confession.

Gourmet inclusive travel.

The concept of including food in the cost of travel and offering it as a complete holiday package is not new but I said ‘Gourmet inclusive’ and not ‘boarding and lodging’. There is a vast difference between the two-right?

The couple of cancun honeymoons are treated with the finest continental cuisine, of course with a touch of Mexican fare by all of Karisma’s five signature resorts that include the most sought after l Dorado Royale Spa Resort (adults only) and El Dorado Seaside Suites (adults only).

Don’t expect to be led into a few buffet tables; Karisma Hotels’ executive vice president Lubo Krstajic says those are for kids only. What you will find is cooking that meets the standards of the best restaurants, prepared in a way that will excite and surprise the senses.

Every honeymoon couple should leave their dining tables with a loud ‘Wow”-that is the kind of gourmet concept Karisma Hotels follow.

The oldest quotations web site.

I often use quotes of repute in blog post. They are interesting to read, thought provoking and thus add some richness to my blog post. An hour before, I wrote a blog post about "What is democracy" using a lovely quotation.

Where do I go for great quotations?
I have several resources and I found out today "Quotations Page" which is claiming to be the oldest quotations web site in the internet. The web site was established in 1994. It has about 26,000 quotations from as many as 3100 authors.

That is quite a lot!

You can search quotations by category (there are many), by authors and at random. The category wise searching can be quick and interesting.

Example:
Category: Weather
Quote: "When all is said and done, the weather and love are the two elements about which one can never be sure."

Bookmark it and share.

Have you heard about these browsers?

Let us not be ignorant about what is happening in the world of browsers. It is alright if we are loyal to Firefox (anyone loyal to IE still?). As a problogger, we should know about other browsers though we may never use them in our life. There is nothing wrong in learning-right?

Avant Browser is a web browser that almost matches the features of Firefox.

iRider is supposed to be a fast and multi-page web browser.

Maxthon is a powerful tabbed browser.

Flock is a fairly well known browser built from Mozilla Firefox. This browser is said to be the most appropriate web browser for bloggers and social networking addicts.

Konqueror is an Open Source web browser.

Lunascape - The world’s first triple engine browser that supports IE for the Trident Platform, Firefox for Gecko and Chrome for WebKit.

Runecats Explorer Zeox is also a tabbed web browser.

NeoPlanet, Ultrabrowser and Shiira are some of the hardly known browsers.
