50 ways to use Bacon.

Well don't accuse me for bringing out more recipe or food related websites. Even I am surprised at the turn of events.

It happened like this:
A well known food writer was asking me if I can do a regular blog posts on his writings. He is an international figure. I affirmed I can and while waiting for the order to fall through, I am practicing the impeding work.

Bacon-this is one item that is off the limits of our family of staunch vegetarians. But after all, I am not writing a recipe of bacon but only pointing my finger to where you can find innovative recipes!

Here is a website that shares its knowledge of using bacon in 5o different ways.

Do gold ornaments have resale value?

When you have decided to buy gold bullion, what comes to your mind next?

  • From where to buy gold bullion
  • Whether to buy gold coins or gold bar
  • Do gold ornaments have resale value
  • How to confirm the purity of gold
  • Whether to take delivery or arrange to be stored in bank vaults

I think I have covered all possible questions. Please let me if I have left any.

The solution to all the above questions is the United States Gold Bureau from whom you can purchase silver, gold or other precious metals and coins for immediate personal delivery or arrange for convenient and safe storage at an independent bank or depository.

Sell excess cooked food.

It is not very rare that we see spare food.We often cook more food than needed. We promptly dump them in the fridge only to throw away in the garbage when the fridge is full.

What to do with spare food?

Here is an online network through which, we all can sell the excess food. This is for home only; not for hotels and restaurants.

Super Marmite is an online marketplace where home cooks can make some money out of spare food.

I think this is an innovative idea to:
* avoid wastage of food
* make money out of excess food
* to eat freshly cooked homely meals at discounted rate

Since it is a location based social network, house wives can list their location and the food and its quantity and willing buyers can quickly satisfy their hunger.

Find what is cooking in your neighborhood!

Social networking for fitness buffs.

Do you know that fitness fanatics thrive on cheer? Yes, they need constant cheers that say, "Come on Mady, you can do it; you are doing just great".

After all we all look for approvals for our work in our office or at home just like students look forward to marks for their exams taken.

What if there is an exclusive social networking site is launched for fitness buffs? That would be great for them to share their workout plans, diet and progress.

There is a foreign website (Finland based)that supports several languages including English, Italian, Russian, Swedish and German. I would urge die-hard fitness buffs to visit this social networking site dedicated for them.

Greece Point.

Having studied history, my husband is constantly talking about his future visit to Greece of which he is profoundly appreciative of its culture and tradition.

Ancient Greeks were fore fathers to some of the most advanced discoveries in the world. He feels that their civilization still carries most of their ancestors' way of living and philosophy.

He especially wants to visit all those remote and unspoilt Grecian islands. Today, in my web directory, I came across a listing of Greece traveling website called Greece Point.

This website features thousands of Greek restaurants and Greek hotels which can be our one-stop source for Greece traveling! They have a list of restaurants in every city and towns of Greece.

One can also search for the best travel agencies located in every part of Greece.

Would the U.S. Gold bureau agree?

Few people buy gold bars because of two main reasons:

1. They are expensive

2. They can’t match the appearance of gold coins

I belong to that category of ‘few people’ and I would choose the reason number 2 as mine.

I am not a collector of gold coins but I buy once in way. Recently, I saw a stunning portfolio of Australian gold coins possessed by a parent of one of my students.

His latest purchase was 2011 Australian Year of the Rabbit. When I took it on my hands, I guessed it weighed about 2 ounces. It must have cost him a fortune.

He informed me that in his opinion, next to the U.S. Mint, the Australian mint is producing the most beautiful gold coins.

I wonder if the U.S. Gold Bureau would agree to this judgment.

United States Gold Bureau is America’s best dealer of gold, silver and platinum coins.

Best baby names resource with 23,000 baby names.

I once built a squidoo lens for Indian baby names but did not publish it for fear of poor target audience.

Today, I stumbled onto a blog (http://star-babynames.blogspot.com/) that contains large number of Indian baby names with meaning given for each baby name. I commend the effort of the blogger.

There is a video clip in youtube for baby names that has attracted thus far 26000 plus views though it suggests only 40 baby names.

I am again contemplating to build a squidoo lens on baby names for every country, culture, religion and beliefs. I may even throw open a contest for the best baby name suggested.

babynamer.com has published over 23,000 baby names and it is featured in makeuseof.com
