I ran into (virtually) Steve Blalock while reading the 26k plus unread items in my Google reader. The title (Swapping Ads)of one his famed articles caught my eye. Steve seems to be a seasoned web marketing specialist.
He was writing about increasing your mailing list by using your existing subscribers to your ezine or newsletter.
I thought email marketing is dead with the onset of social media sites that make finding like minded people and communicating with them very easy.
In his article, he suggests an idea of exchanging/swapping ads with other ezine owners. I like this concept and I believe it will work out but ezines are no more. Or, am I missing out on something?
I should read his article once more. For building website traffic, you may find his complimentary reports handy.
