Sodahead is a great open community.

Social media sites allow us to share anything that is happening around us but they are not suitable for in depth discussion on hot topics of the world. Social bookmarking sites just don't serve a free platform to for meaningful interaction with people across the world who share similar thoughts and opinions.

Soda Head is just place where nearly 1.5 million people discover, debate and discuss breaking news, sociopolitical issues that naturally attract discussion and attention.

Soda Head is a place where sometimes by narrow outlook on a particular world matter got widened because diverse views and opinions from other members who are called sodaheads.

I am suing soda head for top quality content for my various blogs.

Hugg the green.

Are you committed to the cause of Green?
Would like to share your views, opinions and news on green issues with like minded persons?
Want to stay updated on environmental matters?

Hugg is a social news site with a strong focus on environmental issues apart from categories that include politics, science, fashion and technology. Not a great combination-right? (Smile).

I like Hugg and some of the news reported make up sit up and notice. An example below will tell you what I mean:
"
The average American eats 67 pounds of beef a year (or about 1/10th of a cow). Problem is, that takes 167,500 gallons of water, 1072 pounds of grain, and 3.35 acres of land to produce.."

The site has very simple layout. There is no information about the developers.

The social media site for guides and tutorials.

Looking for a social media site that concentrates on guides and tutorials? I read in Mashable.com about Tweako.

It is an user-powered site and social network with a focus on guides and tutorials in all categories like computing, technology, and the Internet. I could always use some tutorial or the other in my profession of teaching.

Mostly, I make it a point to bookmark such websites and use them during the course of my teaching. Who knows when something will come in handy?

Thank God I found out Tweako. In an article there under 'How to' category, I learnt how to use Windows Firewall in Windows Vista OS.

There are very useful links to hundreds of tutorials in various categories that include multimedia, graphics, security, programming and more.
