Frooper.com says they are mainly a dating site and also a social networking site targeting Indians.
Generrally, social networking sites are great platforms to build up contacts, promote business legally and communicate globally without spending a single penny. That is why Myspace, Orkut and Friendster are very popular. They are abuzz with non-stop activity that even Yahoo IM is envious of.
I think IM cult itself is waning. May be only business people only use SKYPE for video conferencing facilities. Otherwise, it is the era of internet socializing and electronic match making.
Frooper claims they too have million registered users and I wonder why people will throng a regional networking site when they can go global with other players.
Is it true that they are backed by shaadi.com?
