Don’t take the hacker easy.

It is prudent sometimes to give your best attention to bad elements. And in the Internet world, the bad (worst?) elements are hackers of course. To tackle then the IT industry is spending millions of dollars in software development and man power employment.

Forget about the frequent problems of virus infections faced by individuals like you and I and think about large conglomerates that manage huge database.

“Security is a top priority for enterprise customers,” said Michelle Weiss, vice president of marketing, Business Critical Systems, HP. Taking cue, Symark Software has announced their PowerBroker and PowerPassword to support New HP Integrity Servers and the HP-UX 11i v3 Operating System.

It is not always necessary that hackers are outsiders. Internal security breach is quite common. Very aptly named Privileged Access, the product PowerBroker protects the root account—the most targeted administrative account—from both external and internal threat and PowerPassword-UME enables IT managers to centrally deploy, modify and delete individual UNIX and Linux user accounts.

“Because enterprises around the world run mission-critical financial, human resources and other applications on UNIX and Linux systems, it is vital that they have a comprehensive access control mechanism in place,” said Bob Farber, COO of Symark Software.

Other news agencies such as Linux world and nextechnews that monitor the software development concerning security solutions have widely covered these PowerBroker and PowerPassword products of Symark.
