Ready to eat curd rice.

The God has come down to meet the the ordinary man in South India.

Curd Rice-the king of food in South India goes corporate. In supermarkets, mega food malls, the shelves were always decorated with every kind of junk foods (forgive me for the usage) that includes ready to cook side dishes for Indian breads like Chapati, Nan and Roti varieties.

All you have to do is to the sachet in hot boiling water, leave it there for two minutes, take it out start filling up the cups in your plate.

For South Indians like me, the craving for curd rice will surface just 24 hours after we land in any part of India beyond the Vindhyas region.

Now, Hatsun Foods, the makers of popular Arun Ice Creams have launched Krd Rys (curd rice) in 275 gms plastic box. The curd rice is thoughtfully garnished with cashew nuts, raisins, carrot, mustard, green chillies, ginger and curry leaves. They also provide 3 different pickles to accompany the main dish.

I fell at last the God has come down to meet us.
