Free computer tips.

Just about 1% of the internet users are knowledgeable about computers and trouble shooting bugs and errors.
The remaining 99% have no clue to fix bugs and hardware problems.

I definitely belong to the 99% category and as a result, I spend about $60 per year to computer service engineers.

For me and you who are part of the 99% category, there is a web site that offers a lot of computer tips and various educational stuff.

For example, do you want to know how to place a picture into your email signatures? Do you want to know how to re-size a gif image?

There are excellent and easy to understand computer tips at Tips4pc.

When buying a UPS battery, it is important to ask yourself three questions: Is it going to be used indoors or outdoors? How long will it supply power? Does it match the voltage output?
Make sure you purchase the appropriate one to prevent accidents. Also make sure that your UPS battery has a built-in surge suppressor and warranty for added protection. Finally, do not just settle for any cheap brand. Invest in a high-quality UPS battery, even if it is a bit more expensive. A cheap but faulty unit will only damage your appliances and devices (sometimes beyond repair), costing you more money in the long run.
