Who supplies handicapped toilet?

The incident occurred at San Francisco airport. We were all waiting impatiently for our flight to Dulles airport. We nearly missed the flight announcement amidst the cacophony of the waiting passengers.

It was my brother-in-law’s 8 year old daughter who suddenly got up from her seat and went up to talk to another boy from Nigeria. That boy must have been 12 years old and both his legs were wrapped in heavy cast. There was a pair of crutches lying beside his chair.

Our little angel walked back with a calm smile on her face. Only when we were aboard, she told us that she had gone to explain to the boy’s father about the availability of the handicapped toilet down the hall.

She told us that she saw the boy talking to his father about his necessity. Our angel understood that much from the signs and expressions of the disabled boy. She also sensed that they don’t understand English.

Except me, none in our family knew about such handicapped toilets that are fitted with extra attachments to serve the needs of other people.

Allegro Medical, one of the largest and most technologically advanced independently owned online retailers of life enhancing products in the United States is the leading supplier of handicapped toilet among other things that include shower chair and various daily living aids.
