Automatic wealth building plan from ING bank.

Well, not exactly from ING bank but from its subsidiary “Share Builder”, this wealth building plan is offered to us all. This once in a life time automatic investment plan is sure to build our wealth over a period of time.

They are offering two different plans of share investment; one is automatic investing and the other is real time investing. In both the type of investment plans, one can choose different pricing schemes. There is also a low cost affordable pricing for those who would like to enter with just $4.

I liked the idea of automatic investment scheme where I can just add stocks to my plan, and enter the dollar amount I want to invest for each of the stocks I choose. Another advantage is the liberty offered to schedule my time of investment like a fixed date, or in varying frequencies of days.

Here comes the most attractive aspect of this automatic investment plan-the choice of funding. We are offered four different options to fund our account.

Come on; tap the investor in you.

Buy Tata Steel or sell?

I could not understand the difference of opinion among the stock market analysts.
One expert says that Tata Steel should be bought less than Rs.700 level and one says it is still a good buy at this rate of Rs. 830.00

I think it is still a good buy at this rate but what Srivatsan Srinivasan from Madras says also make sense to me. He says in his blog that at the current rate, "the stock trades at around 12 times it's fully diluted FY08E EPS of Rs. 68".

News papers report that Tata Steel is undertaking some major expansions and that may push up its price shortly. I usually don't speculate on the market. I take long term position.

My question:
Is it adviasbale to take positions at this level or do I have to wait?

Why Croesus was a wealthy king?

I take the liberty of writing a bit of ancient history that will surely interest you.
Croesus was the king of Lydia in 560 BC. He is credited to have minted the first gold coin and whenever we invest in gold coin, we all owe him the gratitude he deserves.

Croesus was renowned for his wealth— Pausanias noted his gifts preserved at Delphi— and in Greek and Persian cultures his name became a synonym for a wealthy man; in English, expressions such as "rich as Croesus" or "richer than Croesus" are used to indicate great wealth.

Though I would like to possess one the gold coins that King Croesus issued, I will compromise one for the more beautiful modern American Eagles gold coins.

And, I depend on Monex Deposit Company (MDC) to buy my gold coins because of their 30 years of reputation as a precious metals dealer. If, God willing, my next purchase from Monex will be a gold bar.
