It is reported that 500 million people access Internet from public Internet enters which means that many people don't have computers in their home. I hope computer sellers take a note of this.

Are you a Twitter? I am not. I don't find any use there.

Only today I found that there are 16,83,786 twitters are there happily interacting with each other. Am I missing out on some fun?

Well, so be it.

Ok, how do you find out if all your friends and family members are in Twitter? Is there a directory? Is there a way to search for them?

Yes, Twitdir.com allows you to do a search using several parameters. I did a couple of searches but I was not lucky.

The website has a very simple design and user interface. The time it takes to search is bit slow.
I don't know what is in it for the promoter because I don't even see Google AdSense in it.

Indian? Where are you?

The first Malaysian that visited my home three years ago was an industrialist having business interests in Japan apart from Malaysia.

That was quite an encounter that remain fresh in our memories even today and I hope to retain them for long. We had a great time conversing and sharing. Even though he was a big shot, he was unbelievably humble.

He made an excellent Malaysian food made of Basmati rice right in our kitchen. He said he did it in appreciation of the Sambar Rice ('sambar sadham' in Tamil) we served him with typical Tamilian porial and pachhadi.

Today, I visited another blog on Malaysian Delicacies and reading there a wonderful recipe of Jeera rice kindled my memories of that Malaysian industrialist.

The best masala tea you can prepare.

I am a born coffee lover and I don't take tea at all unless offered at houses where I visit. There also, if given a chance, I would ask for coffee only.

But I do make tea to my son and to guests who specifically ask for tea. In spite of horrible tea that I make, my son never complaints, nor the guests. I guess, they are used to poor quality tea that they are offered everywhere in south India.
